While traveling from Egypt to Sudan by cargo ferry, then onward on land to Khartoum, I met some Syrian refugees, Brits, Swiss and French travelers – and of course many wonderful Sudanese families. Sudanese have to be the most generous people I’ve had the chance to meet in all my years of wandering.
An incredible journey through beautiful Sudan from Wadi Halfa to Khartoum; a rich and vibrant culture and ancient history. I was only in Khartoum for a few hours before my flight so unfortunately have no photos. Next time!
